Holmium Laser Fibers

Convergent has been a leading provider of high quality holmium laser fibers since 1994. All our fiberoptic delivery systems use the most durable, flexible fibers available. Our SMH-series fibers have been designed to mate perfectly with the Odyssey 30 laser systems. When an SMH fiber is inserted into the Odyssey, the laser automatically detects the fiber type and modulates the power accordingly. SMH fiber assemblies can be used with most SMA-905 compatible holmium and Nd:YAG lasers.

All SMH fibers can be re-used with proper handling. This means that you may re-process and re-sterilize the entire fiber assembly using either ethylene Oxide (EtO), Sterrad (H2O2) or autoclaving protocols. If you plan to re-process the SMH connector fiber assemblies at your facility, it is important that you obtain and practice proper fiber-optic handling procedures.
